Acceptable Use Policy

WebScan Pro is a professional security-testing tool provided solely for lawful, authorized use. Security testing tools are powerful and can cause harm if misused. By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you accept this Policy in full and acknowledge that you alone are responsible for how you use it.

Your responsibility. You are solely and fully responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization for every target you test and for complying with all applicable laws. The Service exists to help authorized professionals secure systems — not to attack systems without permission.

1. Authorization is mandatory

  • You may only scan, probe or test systems that you own, or for which you hold explicit, current, written authorization from the lawful owner (e.g. a signed engagement, an in-scope bug-bounty program, or documented permission).
  • You must stay strictly within the scope, targets and timeframe of that authorization.
  • The Service requires you to affirmatively acknowledge, before every scan, that you are authorized to test the target. Providing that acknowledgement is your representation and warranty that it is true.

2. Strictly prohibited

You must not use the Service to:

  • Scan, probe, access, or attack any system, network, application, account or data without prior, explicit authorization from its owner.
  • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access, escalate privileges, exfiltrate, alter or destroy data, or disrupt, degrade or deny any service.
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, contract, or the rights (including privacy and intellectual-property rights) of any third party.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks, overload targets, or cause damage, disruption or loss to any system or person.
  • Circumvent, disable or interfere with security or access controls of any system you are not authorized to test.
  • Use the Service to harass, defraud, extort, surveil, or harm any person or organization, or to develop or deliver malware or other malicious activity.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to others to facilitate any of the above.

3. No liability for misuse — you indemnify us

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not responsible or liable for how you use the Service. You use it entirely at your own risk and on your own responsibility. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the targets you choose, the authorizations you claim to hold, or the consequences of your actions.
  • We disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or other damages, losses, claims, fines, penalties or legal actions arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the Service, including any unauthorized, unlawful, negligent or unintended scanning or testing, and including any damage to or disruption of any system or data.
  • You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Service, its owner, operators, affiliates, and their respective personnel from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use or misuse of the Service, (b) your breach of this Policy or the Terms of Service, (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (d) any scanning or testing you conduct without proper authorization.
  • Nothing in this Policy makes us a party to, or responsible for, any engagement, test or activity you perform using the Service.

4. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, suspend or terminate your access for any actual or suspected violation of this Policy. We may preserve and disclose information where required by law or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to investigate or respond to suspected illegal activity, and we may cooperate with law enforcement. Suspension or termination does not limit any other remedy available to us.

5. Reporting misuse
